Starting with a single Chevrolet Commercial 1940 bus, the company has grown to become one of the largest road passenger transport companies in Brazil. Headquartered in Belo Horizonte, Gontijo operates over 258 daily departures across Brazil, serving 20 states and the Federal District, and even has a route to Paraguay. The company is known for its extensive network, offering various bus classes including conventional, executive, semi-bed, and sleeper options, with a fleet of approximately 1,500 vehicles.
