About
LATAM Airlines Peru, a subsidiary of LATAM Airlines Group, is a major airline based in Lima, Peru, and the dominant carrier in the Peruvian domestic market. It operates scheduled domestic and international flights, with its main hub at Jorge Chávez International Airport. The airline was formerly known as LAN Perú S.A. until 2015, when it was dissolved and rebranded as LATAM Airlines as part of the merger between LAN Airlines and TAM Airlines. LATAM Airlines Group, the parent company, is the largest airline group in South America.
