Rome ROM to Budapest BUD flight with Wizz Air

Travelling from Rome to Budapest gave me a positive impression. First of all, the positive features. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful, outspoken and, above all, very professional. Several passengers on board had different concerns and possibly problems, but these were dealt with in an accommodating manner by the staff. I also landed in Budapest on time, which made it easier for me to plan later, as I had to attend a business meeting immediately after landing. I was able to enjoy breathtaking views during the flight, be it mountain peaks, cities, landscapes or cloud formations. The entertainment options were varied. There were various films, series, music and games. These were up-to-date and exciting, so the time flew by. The reservation options were transparent and simple. For this reason, I was able to book my desired seat in advance. However, the value for money was not budget friendly and in my opinion on the expensive side. Unfortunately, the seats were not comfortable and cosy. Also, the air conditioning was not optimal as there were constant temperature fluctuations. Despite these minor flaws, the journey was excellent.

This flight was rather poor. When I travelled on this flight, there were a few problems. The comfort was not very good. The wifi I bought was very expensive and didn't work and when I wanted to refund the wifi they wouldn't give me my money. The good thing about this flight was the hygiene. The toilet floor had been cleaned with disinfectant. That's why I would give the flight two out of five stars.

I agree with almost all the criteria. In my opinion, the hygiene at the airport in Rome fell a little short. However, it was very clean on the aircraft, in the toilets and at the airport in Budapest. The service during the flight was perfect. The staff were very nice and helpful. I thought it was great that one member of the crew could even speak German. The flight took a little less than 2 hours.

Although booked as a Lufthansa flight with a transfer in Frankfurt, I was quite surprised when this flight 2 weeks ago was operated by an Italian airline I had never heard of. The cabin and the aircraft were quite old and had nothing to do with Lufthansa. Nevertheless, the crew was special and the service was good. The non-existent changeover in Frankfurt was strange, I've never had anything like that before.

Overall, the flight was fine, but the lack of service and the cramped seats make me consider choosing a different airline next time.

The gate staff were friendly and organised boarding in different rows, which sped up the process. The aircraft cabin itself was modern and well maintained. The seats themselves were basic, but comfortable enough for the relatively short flight time. The interior was clean and well air-conditioned. The landing was smooth and disembarkation was quick. Budapest Airport was well organised. However, I found the ticket a little expensive.
