IconJust as crowded at lunchtime
I travelled back to Bremen from Hamburg a few days after my outward journey. I took the same RE41 as on the outward journey and realised that the Regios are definitely more crowded at lunchtime. Nevertheless, the journey was very pleasant and arrived in Bremen on time. The toilets in my compartment were unfortunately closed but it was bearable. I would recommend the journey for the reasonable price

This time almost everything went wrong. The train started thirty minutes late and after just a few kilometres the air conditioning failed. The air became stuffy, the toilets smelled unpleasant and the wifi failed. Announcements came late or not at all, so hardly anyone knew how long the delay would last. At my destination, I had a headache and missed my connection. At least I was sitting relatively comfortably. I actually like the train, but experiences like this are frustrating.

Fast and comfortable ICE connection between Hamburg and Bremen. The journey takes less than an hour, is punctual and pleasantly quiet. Modern facilities, wifi, clean toilets and the fact that it is a direct connection make the journey a relaxed choice.

Overall, I found the journey okay. The train arrived on time in Bremen and was not very busy, so I was able to get a seat. The ticket inspection also went without a hitch. The seats were comfortable and the train had plenty of power sockets and stable wifi. Unfortunately, the train was very dirty both outside and inside. The toilets were also unhygienic and there was a lack of paper. Therefore a mediocre experience.

I set off early in the morning and was pleasantly surprised. The train was on time and I was able to travel straight through without changing trains. The volume in the wifi was pleasantly quiet and I even got some work done thanks to the stable wifi. There was fresh coffee in the on-board bistro and nice staff greeted me. Only the toilets could have been cleaner. Nevertheless, overall it was a good decision not to take the car. I'm not used to it at all.

Overall, my journey on the ICE 105 was pleasant. The seats were comfortable and there was enough space to work. The wifi generally worked well, which I found handy. However, the train was slightly delayed, which was a bit annoying. The cleanliness of the train was acceptable, but not exceptional. The heating in particular worked well and provided a pleasant temperature.

I was completely satisfied with the train journey. The connection fitted in perfectly with my schedule and I didn't have to change trains, which made the journey pleasantly uncomplicated. It was quiet and clean in the carriage, the seats were comfortable and I had plenty of space. The wifi was stable enough to work on the move. It was particularly positive that the train arrived on time. The price-performance ratio was also right for me. I will definitely book this connection again.

The train journey was on time, which I liked. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the train left a lot to be desired. There were papers and other small items on the floor, and the toilets were not clean either. Although the seats were comfortable, this spoilt the comfort somewhat. Apart from that, the journey went smoothly and the staff were friendly. I hope that the train will be cleaner on the next journey.

The train journey was okay overall, but there were a few things that could be improved. The train was delayed by 45 minutes, which was quite inconvenient. The comfort on board was okay but not outstanding, the seats were comfortable but the carriage seemed a bit old and not that well maintained. Wifi was available but did not work. The service was okay, but not particularly friendly or helpful. I had expected more for the price, but overall still acceptable as the price was not too high and therefore cheaper than the car.

I drove there to go shopping. The connection was the best and easiest option as I already knew it. The best thing is that you can simply drive from a to b in comfort. Only the booking is difficult. As I use the train toilet frequently I can say that it was clean. I also had WiFi on board but I used my mobile router. The service is outstanding as always. I did not use the on board restaurant. I paid 13,60 Euro.

IconCleanliness
My journey by Deutsche Bahn from Hamburg to Bremen was very pleasant. The capacity utilisation of the train was very low and accordingly it was very quiet. There was also air conditioning, so it was nice and cool. Unfortunately, the only negative was the cleanliness, but this was not really relevant on the pleasantly comfortable seats. The journey time of about 1.5 hours was also perfectly fine.
Advantages
IconEverything excellent
Disadvantages
IconI had no problems
The reservation and purchase through the app worked very well, I was able to print out my ticket as a PDF file without any problems. My train arrived on time, I also quickly found my reserved seat, which looked very clean and was comfortable. The staff were helpful and were able to assist me. The toilet made a neat impression and it all worked, a train connection I would gladly recommend to others.
Advantages
IconHassle free booking
IconQuick
Disadvantages
IconUnclean
IconNo internet connection
Thanks to the clear Deutsche Bahn app, I was able to quickly buy a ticket online and reserve a seat. Unfortunately, the train arrived 20 minutes late and didn't look completely clean. On the train itself, the walls and floor were sticky and dirty. The seats were okay, but disappointingly uncomfortable. I found the toilet lacking and actually didn't want to enter it as it smelled very unpleasantly of urine. The staff were there and were able to answer my questions. The price-performance ratio was a bit exaggerated in my opinion and I wished for a bit better service from Deutsche Bahn. I reached my destination too late, unfortunately, and give this train connection only three stars.

The train ride was very pleasant as the train smelled good and was generally very clean. It also had all the equipment you need, such as curtains for the windows, power sockets and folding tables. The price for the whole trip was reasonable and not too expensive. Fortunately, the train also left and arrived on time. Unfortunately, there was no staff to ask questions to, but that was not so bad.

A train journey full of comfort and convenience from Hamburg to Bremen. The train journey from Hamburg to Bremen was simply fantastic. The train's interior was modern and comfortable. Our seats were cosy and offered enough legroom to make the journey enjoyable. The volume on the train was pleasantly quiet, which made it possible to relax and enjoy the journey. The absolute highlight was the free wifi. It worked flawlessly and allowed me to be productive during the journey. All in all, the train journey from Hamburg to Bremen was a real pleasure.
Advantages
IconA very fast train connection
Disadvantages
IconSomewhat unclean toilet
The journey from Hamburg to Bremen was very pleasant and smooth. The journey was relaxed and very restful, there was wifi as well as electricity on the train, the seats were comfortable and clean, and they also had a leather armrest, which I personally found very comfortable. The toilet was a little unclean and unfortunately there was no toilet paper. The price could be a bit cheaper, but otherwise I am very satisfied with this train connection and can gladly recommend it.

IconAir conditioning
On Tuesday morning I travelled from Hamburg to Bremen on the regional express, which was not full because it was early in the morning. The train left on time and the volume on the train was so good that I could even sleep for the hour. This was also because the seats were very comfortable. The wifi also worked here, so I could listen to music during the journey. The only thing that bothered me was the air conditioning. It was set too cold.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconA little too late
When I got in, everything looked hygienic and I sat down on a free seat. Then I charged my mobile phone in one of the sockets next to one of the bins. The service is very friendly and accordingly the price-performance ratio is very good. The volume was very pleasant. The food was also very good. The train was very punctual.

IconReliability
I have been travelling regularly to Bremen for about a year because my boyfriend lives there. Unfortunately, the punctuality is very poor, the connection is not reliable either, there are very frequent delays and cancellations of trains. The trains are usually overcrowded and don't have good internet access.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconUnreliable
IconTrains often do not come
IconTrains are often late
IconSaws often fail
The Hamburg ⇒ Bremen and Bremen ⇒ Hamburg route is one of the worst and most unacceptable train routes I have ever had to travel, and unfortunately I have to do so very often. The only good thing is the wifi, which of course cannot be guaranteed across the board due to our developing country standard as far as internet is concerned. When it is available, it is actually quite OK. Comfort: what can I say about overcrowded trains, mediocre seating and some pensioners or groups who feel like they're having a village chat at a low volume. The service: The ticket inspectors (more service is not possible) are mixed, some are really friendly and some behave as if they had just got up or wanted to become something else and have absolutely no desire to do their job. I don't even want to talk about cleanliness, because it simply doesn't exist. As already mentioned, the only positive thing that can be said about the journey is the pleasant ride, otherwise you only have to play the lottery to see when the train will arrive. Price Performance-wise in school grades a 5

A very pleasant journey! My seat was very comfortable and I had plenty of legroom. As the train was on time and I didn't have to change trains, the journey was absolutely stress-free. There was working wifi and power sockets and everything seemed very clean, and the hygiene in the sanitary facilities also seemed very good. In my opinion, the value for money was right, despite booking at short notice.

IconInternet
Overall, my journey with Deutsche Bahn from Hamburg Hbf to Bremen Hbf was highly recommended. The journey went very quickly and the capacity utilisation was pleasantly low. It was generally uncomplicated, the service was friendly and the ticket inspection also went smoothly. The only negative point would be that there was no internet access for passengers, so I found the journey relatively boring.
Advantages
IconFriendly staff
Disadvantages
IconTrain was quite full, too few free seats
The wifi worked well and the sockets were also faultless. Unfortunately, the train was quite full, so there were hardly enough seats available. It was correspondingly restless during the journey. Some of the toilets were dirty, but there were alternative facilities. The journey took a little less than an hour and the train was on time.
Advantages
IconSufficient space in the train
IconNice staff
IconGood food in the on-board restaurant
Disadvantages
IconUnfortunately, there are often delays on the line
There is always good food in the restaurant. The staff throughout the train are also very helpful and friendly. The seating capacity is sufficient. Unfortunately, the ICE trains between Hamburg and Bremen are often delayed. Nevertheless, this is a good alternative to travelling by car.
Advantages

Disadvantages
IconNo weakness
The train from Hamburg to Bremen was comfortable. There was a slight delay, but as there was enough time to change trains, there were no problems. The toilets were fine and the wifi also worked reasonably well. In terms of price, everything was great and I would recommend travelling this route by train rather than by car. In my opinion, it's much quicker that way.

I travelled by train from Hamburg to Bremen on business and used the Deutsche Bahn connection. I was impressed by the price and the speed from A to B. I was pleasantly surprised as the train arrived on time and made a clean and tidy impression. There were no delays or disruptions during the rest of the journey either. The charging facilities and the internet worked very reliably. The sanitary facilities were clean and usable. I deduct one star for the conductor, who was probably having a bad day.
Advantages
IconNot overcrowded
IconEverything very clean
IconFast internet
Disadvantages
IconDeparted 7 minutes late
Timetable: direct, without having to change trains. Journey time: 56 minutes, one minute late. Train number: ICE 207 The journey was moderately busy and everything was very clean. The wifi worked well and as I travelled in the evening, the price was cheaper and it wasn't crowded.
Advantages
IconGood price
Disadvantages
IconVery many guests
IconSticky
I don't know if it was the original time, but apparently the trains from Hamburg to Bremen at 13:45 are very busy. It was stuffy and noisy and you couldn't get any peace and quiet. Despite all this, the journey from ICE 613 to Bremen went smoothly and I didn't have to change trains. Even with all the guests, I arrived in Bremen after an hour.
Advantages
IconNo delay
Disadvantages
IconDefective toilets
My experience with this journey was quite positive. There were no delays and no other complaints, except that the toilets in my carriage were faulty. This didn't bother me, but another passenger had complained about it. The journey in ICE 203 took 53 minutes, everything was clean and tidy and the service was very friendly.
Advantages
IconVery pleasant journey
Disadvantages
IconDirty toilets
I really liked this train journey because the journey was very relaxed and the seats were very comfortable. I also liked that the ticket was easy to buy and very cheap. I also liked the fact that the wifi was free and it worked, which allowed me to work during the journey. However, I didn't like the cleanliness of the toilets, which were unfortunately very dirty.
Advantages

IconComfortable
The journey was super relaxed, we arrived on time in Bremen and it was relatively quiet in my compartment. The socket didn't work at my seat, I don't know why. But it worked when I moved to a seat further back. The wifi worked without any problems. The train was very well cleaned and clean. The loo was the complete opposite. The conductor checked me as normal, but wasn't particularly nice. The journey took about 1 hour. I didn't have to change trains.

The ICE from Hamburg to Bremen arrived late in Hamburg. There was good food on the train and plenty of power sockets and internet connection. The staff were very friendly and it was easy to make a reservation in advance. Air conditioning was also available. Unfortunately, it was unpleasantly loud on the train and the sanitary facilities were not adequately equipped.
Advantages
IconFast
IconRelaxed
Disadvantages
IconMusty
My wife and I travelled together from Hamburg to Bremen on the ICE. The train was on time and the journey took less than an hour. The price is also quite reasonable. The staff were very friendly at the ticket inspection. There was a slightly musty smell throughout the train, but I didn't notice it myself after a few minutes. We didn't use the toilets on this short journey. So I can't say anything about that. On the whole, satisfied as always.
Advantages
IconFast drive
Disadvantages
IconPricewise okay
For the fact that it's only a 1 hour journey by ICE, I think the price is a bit too much. If you book weeks in advance, you can of course get a better price, but even if you book relatively spontaneously, I think you should have to pay less. The view was nice and the service was, as so often, very nice and pleasant. The wifi worked well and I was quite happy
Advantages
IconWell-functioning wifi
IconTable and footrest
IconAlcohol ban
Disadvantages
IconColour scheme takes some getting used to
I regularly travel on the Metronom between Hamburg and Bremen. I really enjoy travelling this route because the train is very comfortable compared to other regional trains (well-functioning wifi, table and footrest at the seat). Metronom points out the alcohol ban on every journey, which I very much welcome. Unfortunately, like most other trains in Germany, the train is delayed from time to time. However, this is bearable due to the high level of passenger comfort.
