I went there for a shoot. It was the best and cheapest for me that day. Everything went smoothly, except that he arrived a few minutes late. I drove there at 15:03. It was very pleasant. The train was also very clean. I couldn't charge my mobile phone and I didn't need the wifi. The train was a few minutes late but that wasn't too bad. I didn't use the on-board restaurant. I paid 12.50 and thought it was very cheap and good

I travelled from Würzburg via Nuremberg to Munich for my holiday. The connection was ideal, the train arrived on time, which was really great. I set off in the morning, the seats were clean and comfortable. I used the wifi briefly, it was stable. There was an on-board bistro, the offer was okay, but a bit expensive. I thought the value for money was okay, the ticket wasn't too expensive. Overall a relaxed journey. I would do it again next time.

As a day trip to Munich, I decided to take the Deutsche Bahn RE train. Unfortunately, the journey was not comfortable. The train was quite full and noisy. The way to the toilets also proved to be an obstacle course. Unfortunately, the facilities also left a lot to be desired. Disappointingly, there was no wifi, which would have been quite useful due to the many dead spots. Overall, I would only recommend the journey to a limited extent and would rather choose the ICE or car as an alternative, as it is much more comfortable.

Advantages
IconFast connection
IconPleasant journey
Disadvantages
IconNone
During my training, I had block lessons in Munich, so I travelled from Nuremberg to Munich by ICE train. The connection is very convenient and is a fast route. You can be there in 1 hour, which is quicker than travelling by car. I would do this again at any time, as it is the quickest, most convenient and cheapest. There were no problems on either journey and everything went smoothly.
Advantages
IconInformation about connecting trains by the staff
IconTrain was clean and had comfortable seating
IconNo changeover necessary
Disadvantages
IconCold air in the passenger compartment
IconDelay of 25 minutes due to a track closure
The journey from Nuremberg to Munich was very fast with the ICE and no change of trains. The train was not much busy and thus asked for a relaxed atmosphere in the passenger compartment. However, I found it very cold there. On the journey, there was a track closure in between times, which is why the train was delayed by 25 minutes. The staff informed us about the delay and connecting trains that could be reached. Seats and equipment were very good and cleanliness was quite acceptable both in the passenger compartment and in the toilets.
Advantages

IconGood hygiene
IconNice staff
Disadvantages
IconSocket
The journey from Nuremberg main station to Munich main station was very nice. The staff were very helpful at the board restaurant. I also found a seat. The good thing is that you don't have to change trains from Nuremberg to Munich. The train smelled a bit like alcohol, but it was fine for the short journey.
Advantages
IconShort travel time
IconClean
Disadvantages
IconLittle delay
The journey from Nuremberg to Munich was on ICE 529 in second class. The journey took place during lunchtime, so the train was not particularly busy and I got a seat. The train arrived already with a slight delay and also arrived late in Munich. However, the journey itself was relatively short at one hour. It was a clean and well-maintained train, nothing to complain about here. The service on board was also good. There was free wifi and plenty of power sockets. One was right next to my seat.
Advantages
IconFast train connection
Disadvantages
IconVery many stopovers
Normally I always use my car to get around, but as it was broken, I had to take the train this time. The reservation went quickly and smoothly, unfortunately the train arrived very late, for which I have to deduct one star. The train itself looked neat. When I entered the train, a DB employee apologised to me for the delay, which I found very nice. I found my seat easily and quickly, where there was a power source so I could charge my smartphone during the journey. The seats were a bit worn, which I think is normal. There was wifi on the train so I had a constant internet connection during the journey. The hygiene in the toilet was ok, unfortunately there were no paper towels to dry your hands. The journey itself was very relaxed and fast, which made me want to use this train service more often in the future.

On my journey to Buchloe, I first had to travel from Nuremberg to Munich. I found the journey by ICE very pleasant. There was a great bistro on board. I was well and sufficiently supplied with food and drink. The train was exceptionally clean, which is not the case with other trains. I travel a lot by train for work. It was also on time, so I got my connecting train on time.
Advantages
IconFew stops in between
IconShort travel time
Disadvantages
IconDelay
I travelled from Nuremberg to Munich on the ICE 529 in second class. It was a very pleasant journey because the train was almost empty and I could work undisturbed. The journey time is pleasantly short and the train stops at few intermediate stations. Unfortunately, the train had a minor delay. I had to hurry to catch my connecting train in Munich. The train itself was in impeccable condition, it was clean and well maintained. Except for the delay, I can only say positive things about this connection.
Advantages
IconPrice-performance ratio
Disadvantages
IconWIFI
My journey from Nuremberg to Munich by ICE was very pleasant because of the comfortable seats and because it was not too noisy. The service was also good, the staff was very friendly. The standard of hygiene was good and the cleanliness was satisfactory. Unfortunately, the wifi had not worked well throughout the journey. Fortunately, the train was on time. The price-performance ratio is good.
Advantages
IconSmooth and relaxed
Disadvantages
IconNone
I can't report anything negative about this connection. The journey was very relaxed and pleasant. The staff were very friendly and courteous. Booking the ticket was easy and quick. The price was kept within reasonable limits. The train made a decent impression, there was electricity, wifi as well as a snack bar on the train, the toilets were clean, everything was there so you could do your business, you could get a coffee during the journey. A very pleasant connection that I can gladly recommend.
Advantages
IconPleasant ride
IconService
IconCleanliness
Disadvantages
IconA little unpunctual
The journey from Nuremberg to Munich was on ICE 529, in second class. Second class was surprisingly comfortable. The only real difference to first class is that the seats in first class are slightly wider and there are fewer passengers. The journey itself was very pleasant and went by quite quickly. It lasted just under an hour. The service on board was good, I have nothing to complain about. It was a clean train.
Advantages
IconShort travel time
IconClean train
IconNice staff
Disadvantages
IconNone
The journey from Nuremberg to Munich was on ICE 529, in second class. I did not make a reservation, but the train still offered enough seats. The journey time was pleasantly short, just under an hour. The train was on time the whole time. It was a clean and hygienic train, with no visible defects. The staff on board were always friendly and polite.
Advantages
IconQuickly reached the goal
IconClean train
Disadvantages
IconSomewhat unpunctual
The journey from Nuremberg to Munich was on ICE 529. I didn't make a reservation, but there were still plenty of seats. My seat was equipped with a power socket. In addition, the train has wifi. The journey went by very quickly, I was in Munich in just under 1 hour. The train arrived in Munich a little late, but I was still able to catch my connecting train. It was a very clean train.
Advantages
IconComfort
IconEquipment
Disadvantages
IconPrice
I recently travelled from the main station in Nuremberg to Munich. The journey of about an hour was very comfortable! The ICE was very clean. The equipment was top! The wifi worked great. The price is a bit too high in my opinion!
Advantages
IconPrice-performance
Disadvantages
IconDelay
We booked train, tickets from Nuremberg to Munich and back with the ICE, as the price-performance ratio was unbeatable. The journey was very pleasant overall and we were from Nuremberg to Munich within about 1 hour. Unfortunately, however, the train was late, so we arrived in Munich over 1 hour later than originally planned. This wasn't too much of a problem for us, as we didn't have to keep a fixed appointment, but of course 1 hour is still a pretty big delay. We were able to get a seat without a seat reservation and the train was not too busy, even though we travelled on a weekend morning. The staff was very friendly and the train very and also sockets were at every seat and the wifi worked perfectly. That's why I would always take the ICE from Nuremberg to Munich again, as I find it a much less stressful alternative to driving.
Advantages
IconService
Disadvantages
IconPunctuality
The journey was actually very good, but unfortunately the train wasn't on time at all and so I had to wait quite a while at the station. The rest was satisfactory though, I had plenty of space and working wifi. As long as the train is on time, I can recommend it.
Advantages
IconFast journey
Disadvantages
IconDelay
IconTrain was full
I travelled on the ICE from Nuremberg to Munich. It was a relatively old train, but it was clean. Due to the snow chaos in Bavaria, the train was an hour late and totally overcrowded. The route is great as you can be in Munich in an hour, so it's very quick. The price was okay, but it's cheaper if you book early and take the saver fare. I would recommend the ice journey to anyone who has to travel the Nuremberg-Munich route.
