I travelled on the ÖBB Nightjet NJ 456 from Vienna to Berlin and was delighted! The departure at Vienna Central Station was uncomplicated, the train staff friendly and helpful. My sleeper compartment was very clean, cosy and offered plenty of privacy - perfect for relaxing after a long day. The beds were comfortable, so I was able to sleep well. I particularly enjoyed the quiet atmosphere on the train and the small breakfast in the morning, which was served fresh. Arrival in Berlin the next morning was on time and I felt rested and ready for the day. The journey was not only comfortable, but also environmentally friendly and practical, as I was able to save myself an overnight stay in a hotel. I can unreservedly recommend the ÖBB Nightjet NJ 456 for the Vienna-Berlin route

I was able to travel from Vienna to Berlin on the RJ without changing trains. Although the train was full to capacity, the noise level was relaxing. The train was very clean and the toilets looked hygienic. The beds looked good and were very comfortable. The length of the bed was also appropriate. The evening meal and breakfast tasted delicious and was served in a friendly manner by the staff. Unfortunately, the train from Bad Schandau was delayed by around 30 minutes due to the customs check, which could not be made up by the time we reached Berlin. The ticket price was very reasonable for this journey. Unfortunately, you had to book the meal separately. Overall, I enjoyed the trip and can therefore recommend it.

I took the ICE from Vienna to Berlin. Especially now during the holiday season, the motorway from Austria to Germany is very busy, so it's a good idea to take the train. You don't have to wait as long as you would by car and it's also environmentally friendly. You don't even notice the heat on the train thanks to the air conditioning. Cleanliness was fine except for the rubbish that was not emptied.

The journey in the ICE from Vienna to Berlin started on time. The seats are reasonably comfortable and equipped with a power socket. To make sure you really have an assigned seat, it is advisable to pay the small extra charge and make a seat reservation. In terms of value for money, I think it's a shame that it's much cheaper to travel the same distance by plane.

The train journey from Vienna to Berlin was positive overall. The staff were very nice, the wifi worked flawlessly and the seats were extremely comfortable and well maintained. Hygiene was exemplary, which had a positive impact on the travelling experience, as the toilets were very clean and well maintained. However, there were some challenges. The need to change trains made the journey a little complicated. The train did not arrive on time, which affected the timetable. The volume on the train was also not always appropriate. Despite these minor weaknesses, the positive experience outweighed the negative, thanks to the friendly staff, the reliable wifi connection and the excellent seating comfort.
