Flying direct with Iberia from Mexico City to Madrid is the most convenient way to travel between these two cities. Both airports are well equipped and have everything you might need. The onboard experience is nice thanks to the screens with a wide selection of entertainment.

Route overview
You can travel from Mexico City to Madrid by plane in just over 10 hours with ease between these two cosmopolitan cities. In my opinion, a direct flight is the most convenient way to travel between these two cities. While some connecting flight might be slightly cheaper at times, the convenience and comfort of the direct flight make it worth it.
Transportation experience
Booking flights in Omio is convenient because you can compare multiple providers and modes all in one place. Between Mexico City and Madrid, the best option is to take a flight and in my opinion, the best available airline is Iberia.
Departure station
Mexico City's international airport (MEX) is a bit dated but has everything you might need before your flight. I love how there are multiple charging stations to charge your devices before your flight.
Arrival station
Madrid Barajas Airport is modern, clean and convenient. It's connected to public transports (Cercanias and Metro) and has a taxi station as well. For me the best opiton to get to the city center is via Metro, unless you are a group of four, where taking a taxi is more convenient and just slightly more expensive.
