I travelled from morning to evening and my journey was pleasant and comfortable. The train and toilets were clean and the train was on time. The service on board was excellent and very polite. I did not eat in the on board restaurant.

My journey on the Eurostar from Paris to Cologne was my return journey from our office in Paris to my home in Cologne. Compared to travelling by plane or car, the Eurostar is definitely recommended, the price-performance ratio is right and the time spent is definitely better spent and shorter than by plane or car. I was very well looked after in the Eurostar. You can also work excellently with stable wifi.

I travelled there to visit the country. Travelling by Eurostar from Paris to Cologne was a good decision, as it was much cheaper and less complicated than by car. What I liked best were the cosy seats and how much legroom you had on the train. The toilets on the train were clean, so you can't complain. There was even Wi-Fi on the train. The train was on time and the service was first class. The price was also reasonable, €90 for the comfort seat. You can't complain.

I travelled back from Paris with my girlfriend. We had been on a city trip there and travelled as late as possible so that we still had some time in Paris on the last day. With a price of €192.80, we had a relatively cheap return journey, which is why we opted for this connection. The train was relatively comfortable and you could charge your mobile phone. However, the wifi wasn't working and the train was so late that we almost missed our connecting train. Fortunately, we had such a nice conductor that he asked the connecting train to wait a little longer for us. Otherwise we would have been stranded in Frankfurt at night. The toilet was relatively clean and we didn't use the on-board restaurant.

The train journey from Paris to Cologne was pleasant overall. Although the train was slightly delayed, the journey was still comfortable. The atmosphere moving was friendly and the staff went out of their way to help passengers. The seats were comfortable and there was a power outlet for mobile phones and laptops. Despite the lack of spectacular views, there was interesting scenery to explore along the way. Overall, an acceptable and worthwhile train journey.

Actually, everything was very positive, we arrived in Cologne on time and quickly and the journey was very pleasant. The temperature on the train was pleasant, the seats were very comfortable and we even had two power sockets at our seat. In addition, we were allowed to use the free wifi and the toilets were surprisingly clean. Nevertheless, the conductor was a bit impersonal and the on-board bistro was unfortunately closed.

That was a great journey in second class. I still can't believe that I only got from country to country for €39, and what's more, I was so comfortable on the train. The seats were very comfortable, so I was able to fall asleep. The wifi was great and I had a power socket too. I felt comfortable because there were lockers. I had a lot of space in my seat. Great ride and praise goes out to the kitchen as the food was very tasty.

The journey was very pleasant overall, as it was not noisy on the train and it was easy to relax. It was also clean for the most part. The train arrived in Cologne on time. Unfortunately, apart from the ticket inspector, there was no staff to provide food and drink. The train also had no wifi and the windows were a bit scratched.
Advantages
IconNo traffic jam
Disadvantages
IconNot much space
I took the train from Paris to Cologne. It was really a very pleasant journey, because of course you can't stand in traffic jams. Even if you don't have so much space, the journey is very pleasant. We were there in less than 5 hours. I would do it again and again.

The journey was long, made more pleasant by the comfortable and cleaned seats. The toilets were also cleaned. The power sockets also worked, only with the wifi there were problems in the meantime. My train arrived on time, which meant that I also arrived at my destination on time. The train ran at a very good speed. It was neither too cold nor too hot. It was very comfortable on the train. I liked that the service was very good. There was a lot of choice of food, which also tasted good. This trip was a great experience and didn't feel as long as it was. It deserves 5 stars and a recommendation. Also, the view was great.
Advantages
IconThe general cleanliness
The train looked very beautiful from the outside, as well as from the inside. The lights on the train were colourful, which looked very nice. The train also provided very good wifi. The staff entertained the children, although it was not their job, the children were very happy and thanked the nice staff. In general, the train was very clean and I felt very comfortable. The food was delivered very quickly and was also good. The trip gets 5 out of 5 stars and I recommend it to everyone.
Advantages

IconFast
IconGood service/ crew
Disadvantages
IconLoudspeaker system hard to understand
IconToilets a bit disgusting
My return journey from Paris by train to Cologne Central Station was better than the outward journey. The train was again over-punctual and also left on time. The crew was very nice and helpful. The train had fast wifi, which was good enough for working on the laptop. There were 2 sockets at each seat, which, unlike on the outward journey, worked this time. The seats were extremely comfortable and there was plenty of room for your feet! The train and the other passengers were very quiet, although the driver's hands-free system was too quiet and a bit noisy. This time I also tried the on-board restaurant, which was friendly, the food was a bit canteen-like, but what can you expect? The online reservation worked well, only the search for a seat was a bit overwhelming for me. The hygiene on the train was good, only the toilet could have been bigger and cleaner. As on the outward journey, there was no need to change trains, which reassured me somewhat. The price was a bit high, but the speed of the journey (3 hours) made it ok. Overall I am very satisfied, the journey was better than the outward journey to Paris.
Advantages
IconFast and convenient
IconSmooth and punctual travelling
IconBistro, wifi, sockets, toilet
Disadvantages
IconToilet odour
IconLess space in the standard version
IconEarly booking for more space
Travelling back from Paris on the Eurostar is a suitably relaxing end to the holiday. The equipment offers wifi, albeit only with 3 Mbit in the standard compartment, but with two sockets per pair of seats. You travel very comfortably in Standard, with very comfortable seats and plenty of peace and quiet and the option of a pleasant bistro with a good selection of snacks and sandwiches as well as alcoholic drinks. The toilets have a typical railway smell. The Eurostar runs very punctually. The on-board staff are very friendly and checking tickets is very practical, as you can immediately count the number of passengers on a ticket - this is quick and practical for the staff too. The journey time of just over 3 hours from/to Cologne is unbeatable. As a family, you experience the greatest comfort here and have a great holiday. Especially because you don't have to change trains. However, you have to book early to be able to enjoy a four-seater with table as a family.
Advantages
IconComfortable seats
IconHigh ride comfort
IconNice staff
Disadvantages
IconMassive delay
IconStuffy air on the train
IconDirty seats
The Eurostar journey from Paris to Cologne turned out to be an exhausting journey. In the end, we were almost 2 hours late as there was a technical problem with the train. A new train had to be sent from Paris to pick us up so that we could continue our journey. The price-performance ratio was only okay, but the staff were very friendly and offered us free snacks and water while we waited.
Advantages
IconFriendly staff
IconFast train
IconComfortable seats
Disadvantages
IconMuch delay
IconExpensive train
IconMany tourists
The journey to Cologne from Paris was very pleasant. The friendly staff and the comfortable seats with great wifi made the journey a great experience. Overall, the train journey is quite short compared to the car journey. Unfortunately, we were very late as the train was faulty. The air was also quite stuffy and it was very crowded on the train, which is also quite expensive per journey. But all in all, it was a great journey and worth recommending!
