I travelled from Paris to Rotterdam by train and was largely satisfied with the journey. Firstly, a few words about punctuality: the train wasn't late for the entire journey. The journey was also relatively short at 3 hours. The train was clean and tidy, which also applied to the toilets. You could get snacks and coffee in the bistro, but at a relatively high price in my opinion. Otherwise, I can definitely recommend the journey.

The Erasmus Bridge, affectionately known as "The Swan," was completed in 1996 and has since become an iconic symbol of Rotterdam's modern architecture. Its striking design not only connects the northern and southern parts of the city but also represents a bridge between tradition and innovation, showcasing Rotterdam’s resilience after World War II. As we walk across this stunning cable-stayed structure, take a moment to appreciate its elegant silhouette against the skyline—a true testament to contemporary engineering.

Next on our journey is Markthal, which opened its doors in 2014 as both a marketplace and residential complex that redefined urban living.
